Many AU programs featured in ‘Best Graduate Schools 2014’

 

U.S. News and World Report’s “Best Graduate Schools 2014” publication contains many Auburn programs among its national rankings.

Graduate program rankings updated this year include those in the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at 67th, those in the College of Education at 78th, and the on-campus MBA program in the College of Business at 75th, up from 88th last year.

The College of Education’s rehabilitation counseling program ranked 17th, while College of Engineering programs include industrial at 31st, aerospace 43rd, chemical 50th, civil 50th, electrical 51st, computer 62nd, materials 66th and mechanical 77th.

Biosystems engineering, a program within both Engineering and the College of Agriculture, ranked 20th.

The frequency, methodologies and publication of the U.S. News rankings vary by discipline; some disciplines are evaluated each year, while others are evaluated every two years or every four years.
