Title IX & Discrimination: Identifying & Responding to Sexual Misconduct

All employees – including graduate assistants (GAs/GRAs/GTAs) – are required to complete the Title IX and Discrimination: Identifying and Responding to Sexual Misconduct online training course upon hire. The online course is available through the AU Human Resources Development (HRD) platform, ElevatED, and is required of *all* graduate assistants. This one-hour online course explains how Auburn University’s Title IX and discrimination policies protect students, employees, and third parties from sexual and gender-based harassment and sexual misconduct.

  • All graduate assistants (GAs/GRAs/GTAs) must authenticate through AU Access to login to the ElevatED platform and self-enroll in CR500E, Title IX and Discrimination: Identifying and Responding to Sexual Misconduct.
  • All graduate assistants must complete the online Title IX training course within the first 30 days after hire.
  • This is NOT an annual requirement, but is a requirement upon initial hire and for successful continued employment.
  • The Title IX course does not need to be repeated, even if hired into a new role in a subsequent semester.
  • At any time, you may view your completed HRD courses in ElevatED.
