Auburn University is a participating member of NC-SARA (the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement). This membership allows Auburn University to presently accept distance students from most states across the United States. NC-SARA membership does not, however, deal with professional licensing boards’ approval for programs leading to state licensing in fields such as nursing, teacher education, psychology, etc. Students seeking internship placement in these fields should contact the program coordinator in their respective departments.
