SPEAK Test Dates
Testing will be available to each department on specified dates at the beginning and end of each semester. For avaialble test dates, please contact Auburn Global directly or inquire with your specific department or program liaison with Auburn Global, typically the Graduate Program Officer (GPO).
Spring 2026 test options:
- Mon., Jan. 5, 10a-12p; 2-4p
- Tues., Jan. 6, 10a-12p; 2-4p
- Wed., Jan. 7, 10a-12p; 2-4p
SPEAK Test Registration
Auburn Global requires that all Speak Test registration requests be communicated through each department’s Graduate Program Officer (GPO) or designated personnel. Requests made by students are not accepted.
Please include the following information when requesting a testing date via email:
- GPO’s name or designated personnel’s name
- Student’s name
- Student’s Banner ID number
- Student's department & major/program
These requests should be forwarded to Auburn Global’s English Program Supervisor, Jessica Shelton with a CC to Auburn Global’s Academic Director, Dr. Robert Weigel.
iTEP Score Results, Course Prerequisite, and Fees
Students who do not meet the minimum score requirements of 4.5 within their programs will be required to enroll in INTL 1820 for the semester at a cost of $500 (to be charged to the department). Note: This is a one-time fee.
INTL 1820 Course Objective/Course Prerequisite
This course is designed for graduate-level international student teaching assistants to develop skills related to effective teaching, intercultural communication within the U.S. university classroom, and oral proficiency.
Retesting
iTEP retests will no longer be administered as of January 2, 2023.
