Guided Campus Tours
Come experience the beauty of the Auburn campus in person through a guided tour with one of our Graduate Student Ambassadors. With our world-class facilities but our small-town warmth, it's easy to fall in love with all that Auburn has to offer.
We make every attempt to pair our prospective student tours with a Graduate Student Ambassador tour guide in their field of study or closely related area. Your tour guide will take you on a walking tour of campus that will last approximately 60 to 90 minutes, beginning and ending at Hargis Hall, home of the Graduate School. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the Auburn weather.
Tours are available by request and scheduled through our online registration system at least three business days in advance. If you wish to meet with a faculty advisor or Graduate Program Officer (GPO) during your visit, we highly recommend scheduling that appointment prior to requesting a campus tour. We are unable to accommodate walk-ins or same-day tour requests.
To ensure a smooth visit, please allow extra time for parking and plan to arrive a few minutes before your scheduled tour time. Graduate Student Ambassadors may have other commitments immediately after tours, so visitors arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule. All tour times are listed in Central Time.
Group Tours
We welcome groups of any size to explore graduate opportunities at Auburn University. Group tours include a brief admissions presentation, a panel discussion, and a 60-minute guided walking tour.
We offer half-day programs on select Thursdays and Fridays during both fall and spring semesters. Sample itineraries for morning or afternoon sessions are available for planning your visit to Auburn, and a customized itinerary is available by request.
Individual student information is requested at the time of registration to provide a T-shirt, relevant program information, and a meeting with program faculty during their visit. Please provide any dietary restrictions and/or accommodations needed at the time of registration using our group roster template.
Group tours are requested through an online registration system at least five weeks in advance, typically by a program staff or coordinator from another institution. Once you submit the form, you will receive an email that your request was received. Our office will respond within five business days to finalize scheduling.
Participants should wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the Auburn weather. We request one chaperone for approximately every ten students. Chaperones are required to stay with their groups at all times.
Group tours may have special parking needs for larger vehicles or buses. Please see our parking information for groups, and indicate your parking needs when completing registration.
